Springs business target of robbers

Another business was robbed on Saturday in Main Road, Springs Extension.

Captain Johannes Ramphora, spokesman of the Springs police says six armed men arrived at the shop in an unknown white vehicle.

Three of the robbers entered the shop, pretending to be customers, while the other three waited outside.

One of the robbers gave the owner R20 and before he placed his order, all three robbers pulled out their firearms and pointed them at the owner.

Ramphora says the robbers ordered the owner and his staff into the kitchen and took cash and a computer.

The robbers left the shop, jumped into the while vehicle and left the scene.

Ramphora says they are investigating the two business robberies that took place over the weekend, to see if they are related.

No arrests have been made.
