Only 15 students can be accepted for this programme which will take place once a week on Wednesdays from September until May 2015 at the Duduza Library’s Group Activity Room.

Ekurhuleni Metro is searching for young people with a passion for pictures to be trained as photographers.

Any one aged between 13 – 35 years and living in the eastern areas of Ekurhuleni – particularly Kwa-Thema, Tsakane, Duduza, Brakpan and Springs – are invited to join the free beginners photography classes to be held at the Duduza Library.

The Photography Project is an extension of the existing Art Development School Programme presented by Ekurhuleni.

The aim is to develop art skills amongst the youth of the metro, which they can ultimately use to generate an income.

Students will learn the theory and basics of how cameras work whilst physically applying this in practical assignments.
