Robbers threaten to harm woman

A woman from Selection Park was threatened with a knife and firearm before robbers got away with her cell phone and cash.

Amanda Greybe, on behalf of Captain Johannes Ramphora, spokesman of the Springs SAPS says the woman’s house door and safety gate were both open when two men entered her home at 12:30pm on last Wednesday.

One of the men held her up with a knife and demanded money.

The man’s accomplice also threatened to shoot her.

The men got away with cash and the woman’s cell phone and then went to the room of the property’s caretaker.

Greybe says the men broke down the door but it is unknown what was taken from this room.
