Robbers take cash, airtime and groceries

A business robbery occurred along Clydesdale Road, Daggafontein on Friday when a suspect entered the shop pretending to be a customer.

Springs police spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora says it was around 4pm, when the suspect pulled out a firearm and demanded cash.

The suspect then opened the gate for his three accomplices to enter the shop.

The suspects proceeded to the counter where they took money, airtime and groceries to the value of R5 000.

No arrests have been made.
