Suspects ran away with alcohol and cash after robbing a bottle store in Coaton Avenue, Selection Park last Friday night.
According to Captain Johannes Ramphora spokesperson of the Springs police, two of the five suspects were armed with firearms.
The owner was pushed into the store and the suspects demanded cash.
He says it is alleged the suspects took R8 000 from the till.
“They also took cigarettes, whisky and two iPhones,” says Ramphora.
No arrest has been made and the police appeal for assistance in arresting the suspects.
