A public meeting will be held on the relocation of the power line at Ukufisa Colliery on September 16.
The meeting will take place at Welgedacht Primary School hall at 9am.
uKhozi environmentalist, Tommy Olivier says the decommissioning and relocation of the existing 44 KvA Eskom power line at Ukufisa Colliery will be discussed.
The mine is set to open 1.9km from the proposed Welgedacht coal railway siding and may be located on portions 21 and 22 of the farm Grootvaly (Ukufisa Colliery) bordering the Blesbokspruit.
