Successful police celebration at Nigel Prison

Ekurhuleni East Cluster police conducted a successful Heritage Month celebration at Nigel Prison on Wednesday.

Cluster spokesperson Capt Thivhulawi Tshilate says the event truthfully resembled the rainbow nation through diverse cultural activities.

Cluster commander Maj Gen Girly Mbele was overwhelmed and overjoyed by the participation of all police stations, including the Springs Police Station and units within her cluster.

She thanked all the members who were part of the event and encouraged every member to participate in future events.

“Events like this brings members together and they get to know each other,” she says.
