Thieves make off with goods to the value of R38 000 in Allen Road robbery

The men, who all wore balaclavas, forced the woman to lie down while they took various goods from the house.

A 57-year-old woman was robbed at her home in Allen Road on Wednesday afternoon.

The three suspects, one of whom had a gun, parked in front of the gate and forced their way in through the dining room door.

“They made off with goods to the value of approximately R38 000.

“There were CCTV cameras at a nearby house but the footage is not clear, but the car looks like a Chevrolet Captiva.

“No shots were fired during the course of the robbery,” says Springs police spokesperson Captain Johannes Ramphora.
