EMPD’s Nathaniel Rathulo Moeletsi gunned down in Struisbult
The victim and his wife, who was shot on the foot were transported to the N17 Hospital where the later man died as a result of his injuries.

An examiner of vehicles at the Brakpan Testing Station was killed in a hail of bullets in his home in Struisbult on Friday afternoon.
According to Springs police spokesperson, Capt Johannes Raphora, the police were called to the house by the victim’s wife who informed them the couple had been attacked by four men driving a white Ford sedan with blue police lights.
“When the police entered the house, the floor was covered in blood and police found various cartridges and empty casings.
“The victim was seriously wounded and was bleeding heavily when police arrived.
“He was unresponsive to voice commands,” says Ramphora.

Wilfred Kgasago, the EMPD spokesperson says, “The motive for the attack is unknown and the SAPS is investigating.
“Memorial and funeral service arrangements are underway and will be communicated in due course.”
A case of murder, attempted murder and house robbery has been opened.
