R200 000 worth of equipment stolen from Geduld garlic shop

The victim managed to free himself at around 5am the following morning.

Suspects made off with electrical tools worth R200 000 during a robbery at a garlic shop in Geduld last Monday.

At around 8pm, the security guard on duty went to switch on the generator and lights in the workshop when two men suddenly appeared and held a gun to the back of his head.

The suspects took the victim to a caravan and tied him up and asked him where the refined gold was. The victim informed the suspects they only have garlic on the premises.

The victim managed to free himself at around 5am the following morning.

The suspects took the following items:

• Two 25-litre fuel canister

• Two 25-litre diesel canister

• Two 9kg gas cylinders

• Two generators

• Two tool boxes with tools

• Two cartons of cigarettes

• A pellet air gun

• Several water pumps
