Cameroonian national found dead in Daggafontein

By the time the man was found, rigor mortis had set in, which, according to paramedics at the scene, indicated the man had been murdered approximately six to eight hours before.

 

A 38-year-old Cameroonian man was found dead in his room on the premises of his scrapyard business in Daggafontein on Saturday evening.

The man was found wrapped in blankets in his bed with a wound to the back of his neck, which appeared to have been caused by a blunt instrument.

By the time the man was found, rigor mortis had set in, which, according to paramedics at the scene, indicated the man had been murdered approximately six to eight hours before.

The victim’s car was parked outside his premises, but the keys and his cellphone were missing.

No arrests have been made.
