Public urged to take note of fire drills at Springs Police Station

The Springs Police Station will, from Monday, conduct fire drills regularly.

“These drills can commence on any given day; therefore, would like to apologise to the public for any inconvenience experienced during a visit while these drills are being executed.

“Please note that these drills are being done not only for the safety and protection of our own members, but for those of our general public visiting our station,” says spokesperson Amanda Greybe.

Greybe says as the police they want to practise these drills regularly in order to make sure they abide by the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
