On Tuesday morning at around 5.50am, a complainant, the manager at Pick n Pay, noticed the front door of the chain store open.
He was soon informed by the security guards on duty that suspects had broken in.
The front glass door had been forced open and the kiosk, where the cigarettes were kept, had been broken into.

The police were called. The value of the stolen items is not known.
“We know that there were two vehicles involved,” says Capt Johannes Ramphora, communications officer for Springs SAPS.
