Geduld reservoir will ensure smooth running of businesses
According to site manager Melvin Mbero, construction is going well and they are ahead of schedule.
To compensate for the high demand on water supply, the metro is currently constructing a large reservoir in Geduld.
The reservoir will hold 25 megalitres of water and will ensure that the area always has an adequate supply of water.

Geduld ward councillor Thulani Simelane says that the reservoir will ensure that the businesses in the area will never have trouble with their water supply.

“The construction is going very well. Things are going very smoothly here for us and we haven’t encountered any big problems yet.”
Construction began at the beginning of the year and should be completed by June/July next year.
