Pep and Ackermans at Springs Towers were robbed simultaneously on Saturday morning says Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.
According to Ackermans employees, six suspects armed with guns exited a white X5 BMW and entered the shop.

They ordered them into the office before they emptied the cash register and took R1 000, two customers’ cellphones and jewellery.
One suspect went to Pep and also took all employees to the office.

An unknown amount of cash and all cellphones in the safe and store were taken.
According to Pep employees, a white Toyota Avanza, number plate VVJ460GP, was involved in the crime.
