Sister Monicker Selala, from the Payneville Clinic, was in charge of testing blood pressure and blood sugar.
“So far, we are getting good numbers.
“I have only had one abnormal result.
“And that person was immediately referred to the clinic for further testing.”
She says she hopes the attendees also realise that these tests do not take a long time and they can save a life.

Health promoter Mahlomola Radebe says: “I want men to know that we now have a rapid blood test for prostate cancer.
“This is important because the sooner you find out that you have the cancer, the more effective the course of treatment can be.
“And they should not fear because it is better to know so that you can do something about it.”
