Pinegrove Primary School has helped Vita Nova Centre reach an important milestone after its bottle cap collection container was filled through the combined efforts of learners, educators, parents and the school principal.

According to the centre’s manager, Michelle Immelman, the collection will enable the organisation to obtain an assistive device for one of its residents, which is expected to have a meaningful impact on the resident’s quality of life.

The centre expressed its gratitude to the entire school’s community for supporting the initiative over the years.

“Your kindness, dedication and generosity have truly touched our hearts,” said Immelman.

She explained that the achievement demonstrated how a simple community initiative can make a significant difference when people work together.

“What may seem like a small act, collecting and donating bottle caps, has become something so much bigger because of your commitment,” said Immelman.

She highlighted that every bottle cap collected represented the community’s care and willingness to improve the lives of others.

Immelman thanked everyone who contributed to the collection, encouraged others to participate, brought bottle caps to the school and supported the initiative.

“Pinegrove Primary School, you have once again shown us the true meaning of community, kindness and caring.”

The manager said it remains grateful for the school’s continued support and for standing alongside the organisation in making a difference in the lives of its residents.
