Lodeyko residents are appealing to the metro to cut the grass on the intersection joining Wit Road.
The high grass creates a blind spot for drivers wishing to join Wit Road from Lodeyko, and this is likely to cause an accident

Resident Dirk Lourens says: “ It’s impossible to see any cars coming.
“You have to lift your head and move your car almost halfway into Wit Road just to see if there is a car coming, and this is really dangerous.”
He says cars and trucks drive through this road at very a high speed, and a collision could end up being fatal.

Lourens also fears that the high grass could provide a hiding spot for criminals.
The metro had failed to respond by the time of going to print.
