The grass in Jack Ellis Park in Selcourt Enclosure is not being cut.
A resident says the metro has not cut the grass at the park in months.
Along the roads, the grass is being cut and is not very long.

However, the grass underneath the trees and around a substation has not been cut in months and is extremely high.
Ward councillor Shadow Shabangu says: “From the road, it seems like the grass is being cut, but when in the park it looks bad.
“This is dangerous for the community as thieves can hide in this grass.”

As a result of the grass not being maintained, weeds have also sprung in the park.
The metro has failed to provide comment at time of publication.
