Ngomane has been in the culinary industry for three years.

Kwa-Thema – Self-taught chef, co-owner and head chef at Mwari Pizza House Kabelo Ngomane (26) is working on a campaign to cook for five families within Kwatsaduza free of charge.

This follows his lockdown challenge where he cooked 42 dishes which will be included in his upcoming cookbook, entitled The Lockdown Kitchen set to be released in July.

Ngomane has been in the culinary industry for three years.

“I have always been fascinated by the culinary profession but I never thought I would be doing it full time one day.

“I feel like I was chosen to do this and want to continue to inspire other people to follow their passions and dreams,” he says.

He was head chef at Wilgefontein Game Farm in Greylingstad and worked as a manager at Endaweni Pub and Eatery in Geluksdal.

He is a food columnist as well.
