The school has a record of academic excellence and was the top school in Springs last year with its matric results.

Zahia Choughlay looked calm as she waited for lessons to start at the Springs Muslim School.

The Springs Muslim School started the year on the right note, with an assembly that emphasised how blessed they all were to be alive and healthy.
Grade One learners looked in awe of their surroundings as they got used to being in ‘big school’.
There were no tears and many of them looked eager to get started.
