This is wasteful and negligent expenditure
One tractor driver would be much more efficient and economical to do this heavy cutting.
Bob Gillies thinks there is a much more efficient and effective way for the municipality to tackle grass-cutting.
He writes:
In the large park at the top of Fourth Avenue in Geduld are approximately 35 workers armed with weed-eaters.
These machines are not designed for vast expanses of grass, thick weeds or general green growth.
One tractor driver would be much more efficient and economical to do this heavy cutting.

What is the daily cost of 35 (probably contractors) men compared to a single tractor driver?
This is wasteful and negligent expenditure and shows a distinct lack of planning and budgeting.
Whether it’s a tractor or weed-eater, the litter is mowed with the grass but after years of questioning this, there is no change.
Will this and the grass strewn all over the roads be removed?
