A 33-year-old Payneville man was R60 000 poorer after being robbed at home on Wednesday morning.
The victim told police he was at his Lusaka Street residence sitting around an open fire with his friends when five men, armed with guns, appeared.
They ordered the victim and his friends to lie on the ground and searched them, before asking the victim for money.

The robbers then went into the victim’s home and found the money hidden among the blankets.
There were no injuries reported after the incident and no shots were fired.
