
A Sharon Park man was awakened by an intruder in his home on Saturday morning.
The victim was asleep in his bedroom when he heard a noise coming from outside at around 02:00.
“He got up and opened the door of his bedroom. While walking towards the passage, he saw an unknown man wearing black clothes.

“The lights were off at the time,” explained Capt Johannes Ramphora, spokesperson of the Springs police.
The victim claimed the intruder threatened to shoot him and he immediately went back into the bedroom.
When he finally came out he discovered that a 65-inch TV, valued at R10 000, was missing.
The intruder gained entry by breaking a security gate. Damage is estimated at R580.
