Electricity interruptions in Springs

The City of Ekurhuleni has scheduled an urgent planned power supply interruption on May 26.
The interruption will be due to maintenance work on the substation supplying power to some parts of the Springs area.
According to Zweli Dlamini, the metro’s spokesperson, the power supply will be switched off between 09:00 to 16:00.

Affected areas include Struisbuilt, Selcourt and Golden Springs.
“Residents are advised to treat all electrical networks as live at all times while the maintenance work is ongoing. The City of Ekurhuleni apologises for the inconvenience this may cause,” added Dlamini.
