Help raise funds for Springs’ very own Mr Teen Earth SA 2022

Willie Smuts, Springs' very own Mr Teen Earth South Africa 2022 will be hosting a bingo evening on August 19 to raise funds for his trip to Ecuador.,

Springs local model Willie Smuts competed in Mr Teen World South Africa 2022 on July 2 where he won the title of Mr Teen Earth SA 2022.
This is the first time the title has been awarded in SA and Willie will be the first South African to represent it in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
To raise funds for his trip to Ecuador, Willie will be hosting a fun-filled fundraising evening of bingo on August 19 at NG Casseldale.
With the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions and other factors which resulted in him not being able to compete internationally, he is excited that he is finally able to represent SA to the best of his ability.
“This opportunity is the greatest honour and I feel grateful that I can at last live my dream. I am hoping to make our country and people proud.”

Willie chose to raise funds through bingo as it allows families to come together and enjoy the fun activity.
“Bingo is easy to learn and fun to enjoy with your children. You don’t have to know how to play it to be able to join us, you can learn while you play,” he said.
“I am hoping that our youth especially can benefit from an easy, relaxing and wholesome activity. The only consequence of having fun will be the prize they win.”
In addition, to raise funds for the trip, he will also be co-hosting the Mr & Miss Beach Body South Africa 2022.
“Mr & Miss Beach Body SA is a trademark pageant held each year by Nelius du Preez. Nelius has graciously allowed me to co-host this event, where I will be the major recipient of the proceeds,” said Willie.
Through both fundraising events, Willie hopes that he would have raised at least half of what is required in order to represent SA in Ecuador.
The event will start at 18:00 for 18:30. For more information contact Marycke on 081 772 7015 or Marietjie on 083 319 0353
