“I thought it would be fun and now I am growing a bicep from this workout,” she joked.
The Good Hood Campaign aims to bring community-minded individuals together to make their donations in their complexes, residential estates and shared community spaces.
Through this campaign, the organisation hopes to make blood donations personal for community members, showing them that by doing good, they are essentially helping their community.
“The SANBS thanks the community and hope to see all the donors return in 56 days for the next blood drive,” said Terrance Pillay, for SANBS donor relations.
