Creative hattitude hats for senior citizens

It was all about colourful hats for the Senior Citizens Group from Jesus is Light Church on Saturday.

On September 24, flowers, bows, feathers, wild patterns and colours were the order of the day for the senior citizens group from Jesus is Light Church.
The senior citizen committee from the church, who organised the annual hat competition, said the event was a success.

“The spirit was amazing. Each citizen was full of smiles and warm hearts.
“They were so proud of the hats they made,” said organising committee member Louise Oberholster.
Louise expressed that they are grateful to the senior citizens at the church.
“We are grateful to our senior citizens. Each one of them holds a special place in our hearts,” she said.
The Kingdom Warriors Bikers’ Club sponsored the event with hampers.
The annual competition was held at PJ Gardens in Dersley Park.
