Planned power interruption on Sunday

The metro warns residents of a planned power interruption.
“Due to urgent maintenance work, the power supply will be switched off on October 16.
“The interruption will be from 08:00 to 16:00,” explained Zweli Dlamini, the metro’s spokesperson.

Only Springs Extension is expected to be affected by the power interruption.
“Work to restore power will be undertaken.
“No guarantee can, however, be given that the deadline will be met.
“Work will continue until maintenance is complete,” he added.
All electrical networks and equipment shall be regarded as live at all times.
