Marievale Bird Sanctuary fundraises through bowling

Supporters came together for some fun and bowling at Springs Town Bolwing Club on October 2.

Springsites enjoyed their time together in support of the fundraising event.

On October 2, Marievale Bird Sanctuary and nature reserve held a fundraising competition at the Springs Bowling Club.
The aim was to raise funds for the maintenance of the bird sanctuary and nature reserve.

Nelis Van Dyk and Nicholas Mackenzie came out to support the fundraising event.

“We are thankful for the great support. Our fundraising event was well supported,” said committee assistant Jenny Mackenzie.
Springs Town Bowling Club chairperson Izak Hattingh said the event was a huge success and their support for Marievale Bird Sanctuary has been continuous.
“It’s been a few years that the fundraising has been at the bowling club. We are hopeful that there will be many more to come,” said Izak.
