AFM Church gives back to Jabes Care Centre

The boys from the centre were treated to a Christmas lunch.

The Apostolic Faith Mission Church in Eastvale hosted a Christmas party for the Jabes Care Centre in Presidents Ranch.

Pastor Ben Loubser and his wife, Francis Loubser, felt that the boys deserved some much-needed fun.

They were treated to a meal at Nandos and given presents, something that brought smiles to their faces.

“We are family, that’s why we sit and eat like one,” said Ben.

The shelter, which has been running for six years, is for boys who have been placed there due to difficult circumstances such as mothers being placed in women-only shelters or they come from abusive homes with circumstances surrounding substance abuse.

Jabes Care Centre is currently home to 17 boys.
