The parkrun seems to be gaining momentum as the event welcomed 302 runners and walkers at last week’s run.
The weather was hot despite the event starting at its usual 08:00.
Nobody felt new because everybody was welcomed as if they were old friends.
“I had never felt so unfit. It was just 5km, but it honestly felt like 100km,” joked Nokuthula Dlamini.
Participants were never short on motivation and words of encouragement, even when they walked the trail instead of running it.
