Buckingham Academy honours fathers
Learners along with their teachers gave stellar performances for the fathers.
The mood was one of excitement at Buckingham Academy on Friday.
The school, which is based in Strubenvale, held an honorary event celebrating all fathers.
The school’s hall was filled to the brim with learners and their fathers.
Mothers who fulfil both roles for their children were also given a tribute and thanked.
The school’s version of Father’s Day had learners from grades RRR to six performing various songs and poems in honour of all fathers including those that have passed on.
