The EMPD and the licensing division remind residents that some documents from the Department of Licensing may be accessed from the City of Ekurhuleni’s website.
Documents like registration and licensing of motor vehicle (RLV), application for licensing of motor vehicle (AVL), notice of change of ownership, notice of change of particulars of person, application for deregistration of motor vehicle, application for duplicate registration certificate, change of particulars of motor vehicle and declaration of lost documents may be downloaded from www.ekurhuleni.gov.za
After accessing these documents, a person can fill out the document and attach the other credentials if needed, then proceed to the licensing department.
These documents are also still available at the licensing department.
