Planned power outage within Springs

The City of Ekurhuleni’s area chief engineer, Refilwe Mokgosi, has announced a planned power outage in Springs.
Due to urgent maintenance work, the power supply will be switched off on October 19 from 09:00 to 15:00.

The following areas and factories will be affected:

• Nuffield
• Struisbult
• Selcourt
• Element Six
• Bevcan
• Heineken (Distell)
• Old Boart Hardmetal premises
• Daggafontein
• Selection Park

Work will be undertaken to restore power to the affected factories. No guarantee can be given that this deadline will be met.

Work will, however, continue until the urgent maintenance work has been completed.

All electrical networks and equipment should be regarded as electrically alive while the maintenance is performed.
