A house was destroyed after being engulfed by flames on Sunday morning.

A SAPS officer received a report of a burning house in Lodeyko on Sunday morning.
On arrival at the address, he saw the residence ablaze and bystanders trying to extinguish the fire.

The fire brigade was contacted and extinguished the fire.
The house was completely destroyed, and the deceased’s remains were found inside where the hallway used to be.
“According to the other victims, the cause may have been a candle that fell over because they did not have electricity during the night,” added Tshabalala.
