Dr WK du Plessis School opened the doors of its hall and hostels on Friday.

The special moment was marked with a prizegiving and the announcement of the primary and secondary leadership for 2024.

The new hostels that accommodate 120 learners feature laundry areas, disabled bathrooms, a sick bay and an entertainment area per hostel.

It was an emotional moment as family members took to the stage to help place sashes and badges on the new RCL leaders for 2024.
