Petros Pakiso was found guilty in the Springs Magistrate’s Court on Friday of murdering Matebogo Magooa.
Pakiso shot and killed the 38-year-old woman outside Bahama Lifestyle in Kwa-Thema in the early hours of December 11, 2022.
Pakiso opened fire at the car in which Magooa was a passenger, shooting her in the forehead.
The driver sustained wounds to his arm and lower body.
Magooa was rushed to the Far East Rand Hospital, where she was certified dead.

Kwa-Thema police spokesperson Sergeant Nkululeko Magudulela said Pakiso handed himself over to the police on the afternoon of the shooting.
Pakiso was also found guilty of four counts of attempted murder.
He is due to be sentenced on April 16.
The OneStrong Voice Foundation’s Brian Sithole said they welcome the sentencing.
