Planned power outage in Ward 76
The power outage is planned for April 21 for the residents of Ward 76.
Residents should be aware of the planned urgent maintenance work that will be taking place on April 21.
The power supply of Ward 76 will be switched off from 08:00 to 16:00.
The following areas will be affected: Bakerton, Grootvlei, Payneville, Slovo Park, Gugulethw/Everest, Springs CBD, Springs Mall, Lodeyko, Nuffield Industries, Edelweiss, Selection Park Ext 2, McCain, and Elmcast.
Work will be undertaken with the intention of restoring power to the affected areas. No guarantee can be given that this deadline will be met.
Work will, however, continue until the urgent maintenance work has been completed.
All electrical networks and equipment must be regarded as being electrically alive at all times while the maintenance is performed.
