Woman’s body found near Holfontein

The Springs SAPS is investigating a murder case after the body of a woman was found on the side of the road near Holfontein on May 7.

According to Springs SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Themba Tshabalala, “the woman was found around 14:20 with three gunshot wounds, one at her right ear and two in the chest,” said Tshabalala.

She was declared dead upon arrival at the Far East Rand Hospital.

Tshabalala said the woman has not yet been identified, and no arrests have been made.
