SK Cellular dominates KCC Roshnee in thrilling cricket tournament
KCC Roshnee couldn't contain SK Cellular's dominance.
The Springs Old Boys (SOB) SPL Cricket T20 tournament commenced over the weekend with an exhilarating match between SK Cellular and KCC Roshnee.
Bowling first after winning the toss, KCC Roshnee faced an overwhelming challenge as SK Cellular showcased their batting skills, making 202/6 in their 20 overs.
Leading the charge for SK Cellular were Jason van Dyk, who scored an impressive 95 runs off 55 balls while remaining unbeaten, and Jarred Alder, who contributed 48 runs off 32 balls.
The best bowler of SK Cellular proved equally formidable, with Tatelo Maphaka delivering a stellar performance.

Maphaka took four wickets while conceding 11 runs in his four overs, including a maiden over. Alpesh Patel also made significant contributions, claiming two wickets for 14 runs in his four overs.
In their pursuit of the challenging target set by SK Cellular, KCC Roshnee followed suit, managing to score only 98 runs in 17 overs while losing 10 wickets.
Bilal Asvat emerged as the best batter for KCC Roshnee with 24 runs off 15 balls, followed by Soyab Bobat with 13 runs off 11 balls.
Despite their efforts, the best bowlers of KCC Roshnee couldn’t contain SK Cellular’s dominance. Afzal Ravat and Ahmed Imran managed to take one wicket each for KCC Roshnee, conceding 36 runs and 43 runs respectively, in their four overs. Ultimately, SK Cellular emerged victorious with 104 runs.
