Unleashing children’s creativity at STEAM festival

Children between the ages of four and 13 are invited to the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) festival to experience hands-on fun, creative activities and interactive showcases on November 30 at the Springs Community Centre.

Zwelethu Dance Academy will host a children’s Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) festival on November 30.

The festival in partnership with Nubian Smart and Kids Aviation will offer coding, flight simulations, robotics, dancing, cooking, drones and many more other programmes.

They invited children from the ages of four to 13 to attend. Zwelethu Ndlovu from the academy said this year’s theme, ‘Soaring to New Heights: Where Imagination Takes Flight’ aims to inspire learners to reach for the skies, sparking a love for STEAM subjects that prepare them for the future.

“This one-of-a-kind festival provides an opportunity for learners to develop skills like problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking in an interactive, supportive environment,” said Ndlovu.

“Children will enjoy a day of discovery that fosters their love for STEAM and inspires them to think big and innovate.”

The festival will be at the Springs Community Centre, located at the Springs Art Gallery building, from 11:00 to 15:00.

Tickets for the festival include access to all activities, workshops, and showcases. Get yours at www.quicket.co.za
