Reading programme to kick off in February

The initiative aims to foster a love of reading in children.

Damark South African Education Project in collaboration with Laerskool Werda is bringing their reading programme back.

The LSEN support programme for children with reading challenges will resume on February 1. The lessons will take place every Saturday from 09:00 to 13:00.

Oyinloluwa Eseh (also known as Pastor Honey), a representative of Damark also requests some assistance from the public.

“We want to solicit for assistance from business owners and well meaning citizens to sponsor our programme.”

They are in need of the following:

  • Stationery
  • Note books
  • Pencils
  • Erasers
  • Sharpeners
  • Food items for lunch time:
  • Mealie meal
  • Meat/chicken/fish
  • Cooking oil
