Malan Nel Community Centre celebrates 40 years of serving seniors
The centre will celebrate 40 more years serving the town of Springs and its residents.
Malan Nel Community Centre recently celebrated turning 40 this year.
The celebration filled the centre with laughter and song as the senior citizens who enjoyed its services gathered to mark the special occasion.
Elna Swanapoel, an administrator at the centre, spoke happily about the day.
“It was so beautiful. Everyone had a great time and shared memories collected over the years.”
Social workers from the Springs and Kwa Thema Welfare Society also graced the event.
