Clinic empowers pregnant women
The Mommy Bear Woman and Baby Clinic will host a birth preparation and educational class on Saturday.

In celebrating Pregnancy Awareness Week, observed from February 3 to 7, the Mommy Bear Woman and Baby Clinic in Selcourt hosted community engagements.
On February 3, the clinic, Buhle Khumalo and doula Palesa Kekana visited the Daveyton Main Clinic.
They spoke to pregnant women, offering advice on preparing for labour and birth. The discussions covered beneficial exercises, dietary recommendations during pregnancy and practical tips on what to pack in the mommy’s and baby’s bags.
On February 5, they continued their engagement at the Nokuthela Ngwena Community Health Centre, where they spoke to pregnant women about what to expect during labour and how to care for their perineum post-birth.
The outreach efforts extended to the Phillip Moyo Community Health Centre on Monday, where more pregnancy awareness information was disseminated.
In a continuation of Pregnancy Awareness Week, the Mommy Bear Woman and Baby Clinic will host a birth preparation and educational class on Saturday at Selcourt Enclosure. All expectant mothers are invited.
