UPDATE: City warns against inciting panic following accident involving learners
Spreading false information is misleading and can cause panic.

The CoE has warned residents against spreading false news on social media.
This is following untrue information being spread following the accident involving 10 Pollak Park Primary School learners this morning.
City spokesperson Zweli Dlamini says this could incite unnecessary panic.
“We have voice notes circulating about the accident of scholar transport that school children have passed away. We condemn this as it is intended to mislead and is highly irresponsible and causing unnecessary panic.”
He urges people to refrain from circulating misinformation on social media as there were no fatalities reported in the incident.
