SPCA needs help this coming winter

As the winter months approach, residents are encouraged to support the local SPCA.

As winter approaches and the cold quickly settles in, the Springs SPCA is pleading for donations of plastic kennels (medium and large) with detachable roofs.

“Our kennels can get cold, and we want to make sure the animals in our care stay as warm and comfortable as possible during those chilly nights,” explains SPCA operations manager Mandie Foreman.

Residents are reminded that any donation would make a difference to the organisation.

“If you have any to spare or can purchase one, it would make a world of difference.”

Donations can be dropped off at the pound, or collection in Springs can be arranged.

The SPCA is located at the corner of Ermelo and Townsend roads in Strubenvale.

“Every donation, big or small, makes a huge difference. Thank you for helping us keep our animals warm this winter.”
