Residents and businesses in the Springs CBD are encouraged to prepare for an eight-hour power outage tomorrow (April 24) due to planned maintenance work.
The power supply will be switched off from 08:00 until 16:00.
According to the CoE, work to restore power will be undertaken with the intention of restoring power to the affected areas.
No guarantee can, however, be given that this deadline will be met. Work will continue until the urgent maintenance work has been completed.
All electrical networks and equipment shall be regarded as being electrically alive at all times while the maintenance is performed.
