Case closed: Murderer is brought to book

Springs SAPS station commander Brigadier Raymond Buthelezi applauded Lubisi for his dedication and ensuring the perpetrator was brought to book.

Warrant Officer Khumbulani Masikane from the Springs SAPS was commended for his work in the conviction of murderer Thulane Lubisi (32).

The body of a man with two stab wounds was found in the Skoonplaas informal settlement on August 26, 2023.

Masikane started the investigation, which led to the arrest and charging of Lubisi for murder. A trial followed, and the accused was found guilty and sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.
