The Springs Sanathan Ved Dharam Sabha invites the community to their fun day happening at Springs Secondary School at 67 Honeysuckle Drive, Bakerton, from 10:00 to 20:00. The fun walk will cost R20 per person and the show and shine will cost R100 per car. For more information, call 082 436 6930.

• September 2
The Springs Senior Citizens Club will be holding a Bingo morning at 10:00. The cost is R40 for eight games, which includes refreshments. Cash prizes to be won. Everyone is welcome. Die Pinkster Herlewingsentrum bied ‘n Wheels@Church kar skou aan vanaf 10:00. Ingang is gratis, en daar sal vermaak, karre van alle soorte,

en kos stalletjies wees. Kinders word ook voor gesorg met speletjies en aktiwiteite, wat verseker dat daar iets is vir almal. Maak ‘n draai op die hoek van MacPhail en End strate in Petersfield.

The Springs Boys High School band will be performing at the Big Top Arena with other showbands like the Kwa-Thema Field Band, SA Sea Cadets, and more at 19:00. • September 20
Laerskool Pam Brink nooi dames uit na ‘n damestee op die dag vir ‘n oggend van vreugde, ruse n inspirasie. Matie van Graan, oftewel die Boerboel tannie, gaan haar storie vertel in die skoolsaal vanaf 09:30. Vir navrae, skakel 011 811 1880.

Oud leerlinge van die Hoërskool Hugenote gaan op die dag om 09:00 ‘n reunie by die skool hou, waar hulle ‘n boom gaan plant en die skoollied sing in ‘n herdenkingseremonie. Daarna gaan hulle na Stable Inn gaan om verder te kuier en herinneringe te deel.
